We offer a comprehensive water taxi service anywhere in the Solent for individuals or groups who need to get to or from the Isle of Wight without the time and hassle involved with using public transport. We can pick-up and drop-off at any accessible location within the Solent.
In our experience, our service is particularly useful for people who are travelling from other parts of the country to Cowes; we can pickup from next to Portsmouth Harbour railway station (just 90 minutes from Waterloo) and whisk you to Cowes in around 15 minutes. If you are sailing from Cowes, we can take you straight to your boat.
During major events we run regular shuttle services, normally between Portsmouth and the event. This year saw us run the official RIBex powerboat show VIP shuttle service which proved to be very popular. For the last three years we have run services to the Isle of Wight festival, which again proves to be very popular.
How it works?
If you are a private group wishing to make a water taxi booking, please call us on 02392 528447 for a quote. Prices will depend on the location you are travelling to or from, and how many people there are in your group. As a guide, a group of 8 persons travelling from a marina in Cowes to Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth will be charged £20 per person.
For event shuttles, we run at set times, allowing us to fill boats which several groups. We recommend booking as early as possible for events, as do we get fully booked very quickly.
